- November 3, 2024 — “More Than A School” is playing as part of the 37th Annual Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville, Virginia. The film will be shown during the Short Films: Our Wealth in Common program at 8:20 PM at the Violet Crown 5 Theater. “Our Wealth in Common” highlights the diversity of storytelling and filmmaking talent, including works by Virginia-based creators and those with significant ties to the region. Festival tickets can be purchased here.
- August 25, 2024 — “More Than A School” will be screened as part of the 26th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham, Alabama. The film will be shown during the Shorts: Environmental Documentary program from 4 – 6 PM at the ASFA Black Box Theater. Festival tickets can be purchased here. - April 5, 2024 — Public Premiere of “More Than A School” at the Robert Russa Moton Museum in Farmville, Virginia.
- March 29, 2024 — UVA Law’s Program in Law, Communities and the Environment will screen the film at the “Land, Climate, and Justice” Conference. Screening will be held at 2:15 PM at UVA Law School.
- February 24, 2024 — “More Than A School” was shown at 2 PM during the Justice Film Festival in New York City. Screening was held at FIT’s D207 Theater, located at 227 West 27th Street, New York, NY.
- November 18, 2023 — Exclusive Premiere for Alumni of Pine Grove School. Screening held at the New Hope Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall.
